Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Dermo mobile app and the dermo.no website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The service

Dermo provides AI-assisted information about skin lesions and changes. The Service is an educational tool and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. See our Medical Disclaimer for the full details.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload images of anyone other than yourself without their explicit consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to make medical decisions without consulting a qualified clinician.

Intellectual property

Dermo and its content (excluding your uploaded photos and notes) are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. You retain full ownership of any photos and notes you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process them solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that AI assessments are accurate or complete. You use the Service at your own risk and acknowledge that AI may produce errors.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian law, Dermo and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes will be resolved in the Norwegian courts.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you in the app of material changes.
